International Men's Day

Founded in 1992, International Men’s Day is an important time to shed light on the health issues, mental and physical, impacting men.

As men are eight times less likely to see a doctor than women, and suicide rates for men are five times higher, it’s more important than ever to educate and encourage men to care for their own physical and mental health, without stigma.

View a list of our programs available for men’s physical and mental health and find out how you can take action!

Trans Day of Remembrance

"Transgender Day of Remembrance seeks to highlight the losses we face due to anti-transgender bigotry and violence. I am no stranger to the need to fight for our rights, and the right to simply exist is first and foremost. With so many seeking to erase transgender people -- sometimes in the most brutal ways possible -- it is vitally important that those we lose are remembered, and that we continue to fight for justice."

- Transgender Day of Remembrance founder Gwendolyn Ann Smith

Spirit Day

Spirit Day is recognized around the world for allies and advocates to raise awareness of the disproportionate bullying and abuse LGBTQIA+ youth are facing, and to stand up for these kids. Our staff and supporters around the world will wear purple to show their support, and did you know that Spirit Day was the inspiration for the design of our SoCal Club colors?

World Mental Health Day

Mental health is a crucial component of any wellness journey. The stigma against seeking help for mental health and wellness is a particular issue for many men, leaving men three times more likely to commit suicide than women.

We’re proud to have our therapists on-staff including Julia Schwab, Damon Holzom and Henry Campagna to provide free or low-cost mental health therapy services to our community!

National Physician Assistant Week

We’re proud to celebrate our Physician Assistants during National Physician Assistant Week (and all year long!)

Thank you to Bretton Lowery, Felipe Findley and Sergio Hurtado for all that you do!

Sergio says, “One of my favorite things about being a PA is the ability to make each individual patient at men’s health foundation like I’m there for them and they can rely on me. I want patients to have the best experience possible with me as their provider! Our profession is serious and complicated ; from treating and diagnosing to caring for human lives…but, also has the perks of being able to take time to comfort and educate patients. This way, we’re promoting their health and leading them to along and health life.”
