Stephanie Johnson, MA

MCC Program Manager

Stephanie Johnson is the MCC Program Manager with over nine years of experience in providing MCC care and support for people living with HIV. Originally from Detroit, she has lived in Los Angeles for more than a decade. Stephanie received her BS in Psychology at Wayne State University in Detroit. She continued her education by earning a MA in Clinical Psychology from ISPP at Argosy University in Chicago.


Fernando McCray

MCC Case Worker

Fernando joined Men’s Health Foundation in April 2024 as the Medical Care Coordination (MCC) Case Worker, where he oversees HIV case management.

Prior to this role, Fernando served as an MCC Case Worker at APLA Health for nearly seven years. During his tenure at APLA, he held leadership positions, including interim clinical supervisor for the housing department and board member of the safety committee.


Rob Altamirano, MSW

HIV Social Worker

Rob Altamirano is a dedicated Social Worker with experience supporting underserved communities. A proud Nicaraguan American from Los Angeles, he helps patients navigate complex medical, mental health, and social systems with compassion and expertise.

In his role, Rob works closely with individuals experiencing mental health conditions, chronic illness, and significant psychosocial barriers. His practice is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered care, emphasizing functional stability, patient engagement, and coordinated treatment planning.
