Tony Mills, MD

CEO/President

Dr. Anthony Mills is an HIV Specialist and is the CEO of Men’s Health Foundation and president of the Southern California Men’s Medical Group in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Mills is also the principal investigator at Mills Clinical Research and an assistant professor of medicine at UCLA School of Medicine.

  • Dr. Mills earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Mills has an extensive research background and has conducted numerous clinical trials for HIV treatment and prevention. Dr. Mills is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of American, HIV Medical Association, International AIDS Society, IAS-USA, and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

 

Jeffrey Barney

Chief People & Culture Officer

Jeffrey Barney is an experienced HR executive, bringing over 25 years of people leadership in industries as varied as advertising, gaming, and financial services. In addition to these leadership roles, Jeff has held board and advisory roles with start-ups and established firms in support of non-profit and progressive causes.

  • Jeff is a proud graduate of Washington State University, as well as a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP designation).

    Jeff is committed to the Business of People, aligning business objectives with individual performance allowing an organization to reach its potential. Having worked with employee groups in North America, Asia, and Europe, nothing is more important to Jeff than an inclusive environment allowing employees to thrive.

Michael Hirsch, RN

Chief Nursing Officer

Sr. Director of Clinical Research Operations

As the Senior Director of Clinical Research Operations, Michael leads MCR’s clinical research team and oversees its day-to-day operations. Michael is a Registered Nurse who started his nursing career in cardiac and pulmonary critical care in Orlando, Florida.

  • He transitioned into the field of Infectious Diseases and there found his passion for clinical research. He has a strong background in HIV clinical trials and most recently has been extensively involved in a variety of NIH and NIAID clinical trials for COVID-19 treatment and prevention. Michael prides himself in his dedication to offering safe and ethical clinical trial opportunities to the entire community while leading a passionate and inclusive team of research professionals.

 

OLGA KLOCHKO

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of Men’s Health Foundation, Olga brings extensive experience in finance, strategic planning, and nonprofit leadership. Since joining the organization as Director of Finance in 2020, she has played a key role in strengthening financial operations and advancing the Foundation’s mission to improve community health. She was appointed CFO in January 2023.

  •  Olga began her career at PwC, where she gained valuable experience navigating complex financial environments and honed her technical expertise. Over time, she felt a growing desire to align her professional work with a deeper sense of purpose. Coming from a family of medical doctor, she was naturally drawn to healthcare - and ultimately to the nonprofit sector - where she could contribute her skills to support meaningful, health-focused initiatives that serve the community. 

    She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Economics and Operations Management.

    Outside of work, Olga is a proud mother of two and a dedicated supporter of her daughter’s competitive artistic swimming. A lifelong dog lover, she shares her home with two energetic Dobermans. She’s also a passionate Formula 1 fan and avid snowboarder - always seeking adventure and balance in both her personal and professional life.

Luca Michelangeli

Chief Communications & Strategy Officer

As Chief Communications and Strategy Officer, Luca Michelangeli plays a key role in advancing Men’s Health Foundation’s strategic direction, communications, and brand development to further the organization’s mission of connecting men at risk to comprehensive healthcare and wellness. His work focuses on ensuring that every initiative, from strategic planning to external and internal communications, reflects MHF’s values of equity, compassion, and cultural competence.

  • Luca has been part of MHF’s organizational evolution since 2020, helping guide major initiatives and contributing to the long-term strategic framework that supports collaboration, sustainability, and growth. His leadership is rooted in teamwork, aligning strategy and communications to sustain MHF’s impact and deepen its commitment to the communities it serves.

    Before joining MHF, Luca served as Head of Communications for H&M North America in New York and earlier as Head of Business Development for H&M Group in North America.

Tracy Robinson, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Tracy D. Robinson is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Men’s Health Foundation and SoCal Men’s Medical Group. Dr. Robinson received both her undergraduate degree and medical degree at UCLA and UCLA/Charles Drew School of Medicine, respectively.

  • She completed her residency at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Robinson has worked in both the private and public sector, as a care provider and as a health administrator. Dr. Robinson has a dedicated background in providing care to vulnerable populations in Los Angeles County and still provides obstetrical and gynecologic care as a hospitalist at several hospitals in the Los Angeles area. With over 10 years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer, she has a unique understanding of the intricacies of quality healthcare and service delivery. She is a strong proponent for equitable healthcare delivery to all. Dr. Robinson’s vision of healthcare aligns with the mission of Men’s Health Foundation to connect persons at risk to comprehensive healthcare and wellness, empowering all to live longer, healthier and happier lives.

 

Carlos Vega-Matos

Chief Operating Officer

Carlos is an executive manager with extensive experience in strategic/systems planning, public sector administration and governance, nonprofit management, policy and program development, and fundraising in the fields of health, public health and human services. He has served as Senior Director of Public Programs at Men’s Health Foundation since July 2019.

  • Prior to joining Men’s Health Foundation, Carlos occupied key roles with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as Assistant Director at Children’s Medical Services, and Chief of Contracted Community Services at the Division of HIV and STD Programs overseeing the portfolio of medical and supportive services for people living with HIV. In addition, Carlos has extensive nonprofit management experience as an executive manager at the national and local levels managing health human services including HIV care and prevention, substance abuse treatment, adolescent health, homelessness, and mental health. He has also worked extensively in the development and promotion of policies related to HIV prevention and care, adolescent and school health, homelessness, human services and child support enforcement.

Aaron Battista

Aaron Battista is currently a Managing Partner at Ember Company, CRO at TRP and a retail advisor and people weaver. Recent projects include Newstand, Tishman Speyer, Dylan's Candy Bar, RHONE, Michael Stars, Frame Denim, MoMA, Reformation, RC Capsule, The Vend, SONOS, Boll & Branch, Tea Forte, SF MoMA and STORY.

  • Advisor to Dallimore & Co, working with brands on strategic planning and retail expansion. Prior to starting Battista Co., he served as the Chief Retail Officer at Kellwood Company, an apparel and specialty retail conglomerate. At Kellwood, he managed the global expansion of all Kellwood Retail Brands which included Vince, Rebecca Taylor, Adam, BLK DNM, and Scotch & Soda. He led the launch of retail businesses for a number of these brands, which only had wholesale divisions.

    Previously, the Vice President of Retail at VF Corp.'s Contemporary Brand Coalition, which included Seven for all Mankind, Splendid and Ella Moss. At VF Corp., he developed and led the strategic expansions with over 30 years of experience in the retail space, including previous roles with Gucci, The Body Shop, Swatch, and Lucky Brand.

    Aaron Battista received a BA from The University of Massachusetts.

Sylvester Dukes

Sylvester Dukes is an accomplished HR Compensation Professional with a dynamic background spanning military service and the tech industry. After nine years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft maintenance technician, Sylvester transitioned into human resources, bringing precision, discipline, and a people-first mindset to his work in the data technology sector.

  • He is a two-time Pinnacle Award winner at Cotality and a 2024 NHRA OC Team of Excellence honoree, recognized for driving inclusive, high-performing teams.

    Sylvester holds a Master’s in Human Resources from Pepperdine University. He brings to the board a business-first, people-always perspective, with a passion for creating spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered.

 

Mark Smith

Mark is a founding Board Member of Men’s Health Foundation as well as a patient of the practice for over 20 years. He currently serves as the Board’s Chairman and Chair of the Finance Committee. Mark’s business career of nearly 25 years was spent at The Capital Group Companies, a Los Angeles based international investment management firm. 

  • At Capital, Mark fulfilled a number of executive marketing and global administrative roles before he retired. In addition to MHF, Mark spends his time volunteering to help individuals and organizations devoted to recovering from substance abuse disorders.

David Shaul

David Shaul is partner/owner of BRS/Gage Talent Agency with offices in both Los Angeles and New York.

He has been an agent for over 40 years after graduating from Ithaca College with a BFA in Theatre Arts Management.

  • He started his career in NYC and spent 15 years as a Broadway theatre agent prior to moving to Los Angeles in the late 90s. He has headed the LA office of BRS/Gage since 2000 where his primary focus is actors for TV and film. He served on the Steering Committee of AIDS LifeCycle, a 545-mile charity bike event and the largest single AIDS fundraiser in the world, and completed the ride five times.

    David has been a patient of Dr. Tony Mills for over two decades, and continues to be a client of Mens Health Foundation.

 

Nico Guerrero

Nico Guerrero has a background in specialty underwriting, specifically media and entertainment, providing financing for films, TV series, live entertainment venues, music catalogs and more. He has been with Banc of California’s Media and Entertainment department for the last three years.

  • He has been involved in teaching financial literacy to immigrants and teenagers, as well as community outreach programs for LGBTQIA+ at risk youth. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, he moved to the US with his family when he was five years old and post college has lived in Orlando, NYC, Atlanta and most recently in Los Angeles since 2023.

    Nico has been a patient at Men’s Health Foundation since shortly after moving to LA.

Michael Yager

Michael is a founding Board Member of Men’s Health Foundation as well as a patient of the practice for over 20 years. He currently serves as the Board’s Secretary and has served on multiple committees.

Michael is the Senior Vice President of Media and Entertainment at Banc of California.

  • Michael’s banking career has spanned over 35 years with multiple Financial Institutions with a two-decade long career at Union Bank – The Private Bank. Michael began his banking career in Dallas, Texas and later moved to Los Angeles where his career expanded and grew from Retail and Business Banking into the Entertainment World and Private Banking.

    Michael has served on many boards over the years, from the Southern California Counseling Center, the Maple Center, the Latino Theater, L.A., the ‘Swanton Family Foundation-Grant Committee, the Jeffrey Foundaton, and Trusted Advisor. Focusing on mental and physical health is a core value of Michael’s Board commitments.

    Michael is a graduate of Kansas State University and a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Michael is married and lives in Beverly Hills with his four Maltese babies.
