A bequest is one of the simplest ways to make a gift to Men’s Health Foundation. You can include a provision in your will or trust that designates a specific amount, percentage, or the remainder of your estate to support our mission. A bequest offers flexibility and enables you to make a larger impact without affecting your current financial resources.
Sample Language: "I give, devise, and bequeath to Men’s Health Foundation, located at: 9220 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Hollywood, California 900699, Tax ID: 47-0989142, the sum of $____ (or ____% of my estate, or the remainder of my estate) for its general charitable purposes."
Donations of Appreciated Securities: Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is a tax-efficient way to support Men’s Health Foundation. By contributing securities that have increased in value, you may avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full market value of your gift.
Charitable Gift Annuity: A charitable gift annuity allows you to support Men’s Health Foundation while receiving fixed payments for life. In exchange for your gift, you will receive reliable income, and a portion of your annuity payments may be tax-free. After your lifetime, the remaining balance supports the work of Men’s Health Foundation.
IRA Charitable Rollover: If you are 70½ or older, an IRA Charitable Rollover (also known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution) allows you to direct up to $100,000 annually from your IRA to Men’s Health Foundation, tax-free. This distribution may satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) without increasing your taxable income.
