A message from our CEO AND founder

Tony Mills, MD

CEO/Founder

“When I started Men's Health Foundation 25 years ago, my vision was rooted in ensuring everyone in our community had equitable access to HIV care, and that their care was not compromised by stigma, bigotry, or homophobia. I wanted to create a place where patients are first and treated with humanity and compassion. ‘We stand for patients first’ is one of our guiding values today after all these years!

Over the last two decades, therapies have been developed to ensure anyone afflicted with HIV can lead happy and successful lives as well as prevent others from getting HIV. Ensuring the most vulnerable among us receive the highest quality care possible continues to be a critical part of our mission–if not the most important part of our mission. Today, MHF provides comprehensive care, from mental health support to rapid results testing, to our SoCal Club, which creates community and awareness of resources, and our clinical  research trials and pharmacy.

Our beginning was rooted in the very definition of the word philanthropy.

I invite you to join our efforts and support our mission, join our community, be part of our work.

You will find on this page information on how to support our efforts, the impact of your gift, and stories about those who support us.
